Lionel Messi spoke to CNN Sport on Saturday about his role as Barcelona coach, the culture of that team and his talent as a player. The Argentina star was also asked whether Paris Saint-Germain would be his choice as the venue for a Champions League final. Messi told CNN that while he has in the past supported Real Madrid — he played for them for two years until 2007 and later re-joined the Bernabeu club — Paris Saint-Germain represents a “dream” for Barcelona. “PSG is the ideal place,” Messi said. “When you look at their squad, it’s an absolute dream, the best. I can imagine the competition, because they are so strong. “There are so many surprises in the Champions League, everybody wants to play in these matches. “It’s a big plus because it’s not necessarily the best teams that can win the Champions League, everybody can win the competition.” Didier Deschamps’ men are in pole position to win the inaugural Champions League section in France on Saturday.
